signed up to canvass in my neighbourhood for the Heart and Stroke Foundation
I presented a proposal to city hall to have 4 rainbow crosswalks leading into Galt Gardens. They accepted the idea and also want to do a permanent one next year as well as some temporary ones. This will be done at the beginning of June 2015.
I went around my condo development grabbing the big, black garbage cans that that been blown into the middle of the street and returning them to the curb.
Brought in special treats for someone's birthday! :)
I have often gone to visit a friend in Calgary and we invariably go shopping. Last month I invited her to come to Lethbridge and shop here. She was amazed at how much we were able to accomplish with the shorter distances, plenty of parking and easy flow of traffic (she laughs when I think six cars in front of me is a traffic jam!). We found everything we were looking for and got some great deals.
Donated my empty cans and bottles to the Lethbridge Ringette Association in support of their fundraising efforts.
I attended an event to benefit Lethbridge Family services called Rock Paper Scissors. I did not win. It was a fun event to attend. The perogies were delicious.
