Donated many bags of clothes and blankets to a worthy cause
Didn't start giving until later in my life but once I started not going to stop. It's in you to give and doesn't cost you anything but a little time
I donated blood for the 4th time.
Went through my closets and donated clothing, jackets and various baby blankets and stuffed toys.
I built a raised bed container for mom since she felt she wouldn't be able to garden this year. The container is high enough that she doesn't have to bend, and close enough to the house so she can manage. We planted out spinach, swiss chard, and lettuce seedlings. She's thrilled to be able to still have fresh veggies. When the weather gets warmer we're going to add a couple of tomato plants.
My perennials are huge and spreading -- so I dug a lot of them up, sat them at the end of my driveway with a "Free to a Good Home" sign. Now some neighbour(s) are proud owners of free plants.
Roll out the garbage bin on garbage day in preparation for pick-up. The act is returned, our empty bins are rolled back to be filled for the next week.
