As president of Lethbridge Naturalists' Society I help with: meetings, monthly speaker series, field trips, newsletter, website, public relations. Promotes understanding and connection with nature through education, partnerships, and field trips. We recognize Lethbridge as a vibrant ecosystem supporting many fascinating species, our goal is to promote balanced appreciation of all living things!
Participated in the University of Lethbridge Pronghorn's Pink in the Rink event which raised money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Society.
In effort to build more connection and a stronger sense of community on our block, I have approached 5 neighbours I have not yet had the chance to meet and introduced myself. My hopes is that we can start to build a network of relationships on our block and maybe this will encourage more interaction among other neighbours through this network of connection.
Gently used household items for Syrian Refugees
My husband and I walk 3km per day. We head out with an empty grocery bag, and come back with a full bag of garbage.
Walk-In: We helped someone with the first steps to start a not for profit sport club.
